ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- According to a preset schedule, accurately process the monthly electric energy bills and ensure that the billing files are transmitted, via the internet, for processing, printing, and mailing. Using the pre-bill reports, check for unread meters and variance usage on meters. As necessary, send paperwork to the appropriate department for follow-up.
- As directed and in a timely manner, monitor and process the meter reading routes data to and from the AMR System. Ensure that all readings are posted to NISC for billing.
- Process daily billing adjustments and advance payments which include A/R adjustments and miscellaneous charges.
- Oversee the Auto-Pays processing ensuring the preset schedule is met and are transmitted and any returns are processed.
- Oversee the member bank return notices (NSF) from auto-pays ensuring that the appropriate charges have been posted and information documented on the member’s account.
- Oversee credit card expiration letters.
- Oversee the C.S.S. request processing.
- Answer member questions regarding billing and capital credits; process adjustments if necessary.
- Oversee and process inactive accounts receivable and prepare files of unpaid accounts that are to be turned over to the credit bureau and process refund checks for inactive members. Also process monthly uncollectables.
- When requested, willingly assist other office staff in the normal daily operations of the administrative office.
- Always assist members/vendors/employees and the general public in a courteous and professional manner ensuring their continued satisfaction with FEC. Work in harmony and show respect to all fellow employees in order to promote an effective and pleasant working environment.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor regarding situations requiring immediate attention, problems/concerns, questions, etc.
- In pursuit of zero workplace incidents, promotes and maintains a positive safety culture while adhering to all applicable policies outlined in the Safety Manual. Reports all incidents and potential safety hazards in a timely manner to supervisor or Safety Coordinator.
- Become familiar with and keep current with FEC objectives and applicable policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management applying the same skill and enthusiasm as with regularly assigned responsibilities.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Supervision: No Experience Supervising Required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be working mostly indoors but will occasionally be required to participate in activities outdoors in all types of weather and terrain.
